Full Stack Developer (UI stack - React, ES6, Websocket, etc) with Java/Python - NJ

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of the Global Markets UI horizontal team supporting innovative financial asset class solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to development, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to excellence and diversity.

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

• Proficiency in full stack development, especially with ReactJS, ES6+, WebSockets, OpenFin/Electron, and Tailwind CSS.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java/Python) and building UI stacks.

What's the Job?

• Plan, design, develop, test, and execute software releases to support business needs.
• Collaborate with development peers and business teams to understand project requirements and assist with development efforts.
• Create effective unit testing coverage to ensure high-quality code and reliable software releases.
• Ensure software compliance from an enterprise and regulatory perspective while maintaining product quality.
• Design and implement real-time analytics pipelines and UI components using modern technologies.

What's Needed?

• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in full stack development, especially with ReactJS, ES6+, WebSockets, OpenFin/Electron, and Tailwind CSS.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java/Python) and building UI stacks.
• Strong communication skills, motivated, organized, and a self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to global markets in financial asset classes is highly desirable.
